Emma Hardie - amazing face Moringa Cleansing Balm

Hey everyone,

So I just thought i'd pop on here to tell you all about a new product discovery. I'd be very surprised if you haven't heard about this before as it is raved about on Youtube and blogs by all the beauty gurus. So I went into Space Nk the other day, just to have a browse and I came across this, I didn't even know they sold Emma Hardie in the store in my town, so I was pretty excited when I saw it and couldn't resist trying it for myself!

This product is a "balanced daily cleanser that thoroughly cleanses and moisturises and can calm sensitive skin". It is really great at removing all makeup, even waterproof mascara and lots of dark eyeliner, which is great for me. It leaves the skin feeling clean and soft. I have used the cloth  that comes with the product which has two sides, "Professional Dual-Action Cleansing Cloth" one is great for removing the product the other is good for buffing the skin and deep pore cleansing, I find when using these both together it leaves you skin feeling amazing.

As you can see below the consistency is a thick oil paste as the product is oil based. Although if you have oily skin like me you can still use the product as it helps to balance out natural oil levels in the skin. Me and my mum have both been using this product for just over a week now and as you can see a very small amount of this product goes a long way. The product also doubles as a soothing and hydrating mask if left on the skin for ten minutes, which is great for very dry and irritated skin.

I really love this product as it has left my face so soft and glowing and has not broken me out in any spots at all, which usually happens when I start trying out new skincare as my skin is sensitive and blemish prone. I highly recommend this product for any skin type as it helps to hydrate dry skin and regulate oily skin, which makes it an all round great product.

You can purchase this product online for £36.00 for 100ml Here

If you have tried this product let me know what you think of it :)

OOTD patterned trousers

Hey everyone!

I'm back with another OOTD/ OOTN for you all. I know my last post was one of these, but I thought since the weather has been so nice recently id take the opportunity to get some nice photos outside. I think that this outfit is wearable for daytime or nighttime, with a change of shoes and accessories. In my last post I mentioned how I wanted to buy myself some smart trousers, I treated myself and this is how I would style them on a night out.

Since the feature piece of this outfit is the trousers, I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit toned down and quite simple. I paired this bold piece with a plain black cami which has a small bit of lace detailing on the front and back. I also wore my huge heels that I actually bought for my prom two years ago, I must say they are very hard to walk in despite how gorgeous they are! I also included a simple clutch and some sunglasses.

I think if I was going to wear this look in the day time I would just switch the shoes for some flats or sandals and pair the look with a handbag. This look would also look gorgeous with a bright neon bag or bold necklace.

Summers OOTD

Hello everyone,

So I'm back today with an outfit of the day/ outfit of the night, thats perfect for a summer time date or night out. I'm sorry I didn't post sooner, but I had some technical difficulties, ie. my SD card got broken somehow, but never mind I bought myself a new card now, so all is good!

So this is an outfit I wore recently for a date night, I didn't really feel like having my legs out on this day, so I decided to opt for some simple but classically summery white jeans, which always seem more dressy to me than black jeans, although that could be down to me always wearing black jeans, who knows. I also wore a new top which I got for my birthday a few weeks back, which I am seriously in love with, its just summer in a top, its also really loose and thin material, so is great for the warmer months!

I paired this outfit with my new necklace I got as a present from my parents for my birthday which is a Tiffany necklace, which I am absolutely in love with, its such a classic and elegant piece that can go with any outfit and really helps to add a hint of luxury. I also wore my nude heels, they are really comfy by the way, I have them in black too and they just go with everything! I also have a small bag with me from Ted Baker, which is just the perfect size handbag and helps me to only carry around the essentials. I think you could totally wear this outfit in the day too, just swap the heels for some comfy flats and maybe pair the look with a jacket or kimono for a more casual feel.

I also think this outfit would look really nice with some white tailored trousers, I'm currently on the look out for some, so if you know of anywhere that sells some smart tailored trousers, be sure to let me know!

Topshop: Fern Print Cami by Boutique, £45.00 (Buy here)
Jeans: Topshop, Moto white wash Jamie jeans, £40.00 (Buy here)
Newlook: Stone cross strap peep toe platform heels, £29.99 (Buy here)
Ted Baker: Felmar small leather tote bag, £179 (Buy here)

Thanks for popping by and il be back in a few days with another post!

Explanation and update!

Hello everyone!

I'm back, remember me? Well I know its been a long time since i've done a blog post and I'm very sorry! Ive been so busy with my A levels in the past few months and i just wanted to focus on them and get all of my exams and coursework done. And I have now finished all of my exams and finished sixth form for the summer now, woo!

So now I have the whole summer to myself I will be posting very often now and I intend on doing multiple posts every week. I really enjoy blogging and saying my opinions on products and I have missed it so I'm so glad to be back posting! I have also noticed I've reached 6000 page views on this which is amazing and I feel like its such an achievement for me to have that many people looking at my content.

So recently it was my 18th birthday on the 5th June! Which was such a lovely day and I got so many nice thoughtful presents from my friends and family, I was truly spoilt! I was thinking about doing a birthday haul if any of you lot are interested I think it might be nice to show all the lovely gifts I got.

So I just wanted to keep this post short and sweet, to let you all know i'm back and I will be posting a lot more from now on, I also want to try out the filming business a little more and see if I can make some more videos. Thats all for now everyone, I hope you're all doing well and I will see you soon!

Liz Earle Superskin Hand Serum • Review

Hey everyone so I'm back with another product review. And no surprise I'm talking about one of my favourite and well loved brands, Liz Earle. This time I'm going to be reviewing their Superskin Hand Serum. (visit their website HERE)

This is the first hand serum that i've ever tried and I have fallen in love. I have terribly dry hands since I do a lot of art work such as painting etc and I find myself washing my hands a lot. This leaves my hands dry and sore and I always find myself reaching for hand creams throughout the day, which do feel lovely when you first put them on, but they don't really leave my hands feeling soft hours later. Unlike this product which really does sink into the skin nicely and act as a treatment for the dry skin.

Due to it being a serum compared to a moisturiser it is quite light and runny in consistency and is absorbed into the skin almost instantly. Serums are also well known for being packed with goodies such as antioxidants, vitamin E and lots of natural oils, which this product has. (always a good thing, right?)

Now i'm not the best at describing smells, but I will say that the smell of this product is lovely and is very light so you don't need to worry about overloading yourself with scents if you plan on wearing perfume when applying this product.

The product claims to 'Plump and smooth' the skin, which in my opinion it definitely does. After using this product only once a day for a few weeks now I can tell a definite improvement in my skin and it looks and feels smoother and softer.

Overall this product is a must have and is one of few skin products I can say has made a definite visible improvement to my skin.

Superskin Hand Serum 75ml, £17.50 (buy here)

Have you tried this product? If so let me know in the comments below. Feel free to check out my online hangouts I'm on Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter. Speak soon my lovelies!

Birchbox #2

Hey everyone, its that time of the month again where I share with you the latest Birchbox. I must say I really do love the Birchbox so far (this is only my second box). Everything in this months box is really lovely and I'm very happy with them so far! This months box is their celebration of spring box and is a special LULU GUINNESS collab, two of this months products were chosen by her!

If you don't know what a Birchbox is it is simply a monthly subscription to a beauty box, in which every month you get 5 beauty products to try and also 1 healthy extra. They are great if you are like me and love to try out lots of different beauty products. (£10 per month + £2.95 P&P) If you want to try one out for yourself, or get any more information check out more HERE

I'd have to say my favourite product this month was definitely the Molten Brown, Rhubarb & Rose replenishing hand cream. It was so nice on the skin and sunk in straight away leaving no sticky residue and also smelt amazing! This is something I am definitely going to repurchase when my little tester runs out. When I saw that there was a Molten Brown product included this got me excited straight away, they are a brand I know and love and have purchased a lot of their candles before, which smell so lovely. Molten Brown is also a very good place to shop for gifts (Don't forget Mothers day is soon approaching)

Products in this months box:
1. Korres, Citrus body milk, £9.50 (buy here)
2. Molten Brown,  Rhubarb & Rose replenishing hand cream, £10.00 (buy here)
3. Dr Brandt, Pores no more pore refiner, £39.00 (buy here)
4. English Laundry: No.7 For her, £47.00 (buy here)

Liz Earle Haul

Once I find a brand of something that works for my skin and improves it, I stick to it! That is definitely the case for Liz Earle, it's hands down my favourite skin care brand. None of the products brake me out and they leave my skin feeling soft and refreshed. So as you can see by the title this is a Liz Earle haul, I ordered these products online and they were delivered yesterday so I thought I would share them with you all.

Il start of with two products that i've already purchased in the past before. Firstly is the Cleanse and Polish Hot cloth Cleanser which is my holy grail product and will always be my favourite facial cleanser (I have mentioned this on my blog before). It removes all of your makeup, even if you wear a lot of mascara, eyeliner ect. It also leaves the skin feeling soft and looking smooth, due to the gentle exfoliation it gives as you wash it off with a muslin cloth. I highly recommend it!

The next product that is a re-purchase is the Deep Cleansing Mask which is a lovely clay mask that helps to deeply purify the skin. It feels like a very luxurious product and is like an at-home spa! It is such a lovely product and leaves the skin looking refreshed and glowing. It also helps to control oil levels in the skin which can ensure no shiny skin! (Always a bonus)

The next three items that I purchased are new products that I had never tried out before but was always curious about. Since receiving these products I have been using them everyday to test them out and I'm so glad I did! No surprise that I loved them all. The skin Tonic is used after the Hot Cloth Cleanser and helps to ensure that the skin is completely clean and make sure no pesky makeup is left on the skin!

The next wild card product I tried is the Soothing Eye Lotion which is a similar product to the tonic but more gentle for the delicate eye area. It helps to remove any excess eye makeup, so far this is a nice product and doesn't sting the eyes, unlike some brands I have previously tried!

The last product that I bought is the Skin repair light moisturiser which as it says, is a very light moisturiser that sinks straight into the skin and leaves the skin feeling soft. It soaks in pretty much instantly and doesn't leave the skin feeling tacky or greasy, so you could apply your makeup straight away. I think this will be perfect for the summer time when you want you skin to feel light and not heavy with product.

Thanks for popping by sweeties! I hope you have enjoyed my haul.
Have you tried any of these product? I would love to hear what you think of them.

Schedule

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to do a quick update. I was thinking about my blog and I am so pleased that more of you are viewing it and enjoying the content that I'm posting, which makes me oh so happy. I want to try and be more consistent with my posts and to ensure that I post often enough I wanted to try and make myself a schedule for what days I post. Although I am still at sixth form five days a week I still really want to post content for you all.

I am going to be doing a new series of posts called 'Style it Sunday' which is going to be the ways that I would style some fashion items. This of course will be out on a Sunday, but not every week.

I also want to do another blog post throughout the week, this is one day that I want to post anything that I want to from a review to my monthly favourites etc. I think that Wednesday would be a good day for me.

So from now on there will hopefully be two blog posts here a week, one on a Wednesday and one on a Sunday and I sometimes might switch the sunday one up to something else every now and again. I think this makes it easier for me and you as I know when to post and you know when to pop back, if you so wish!

Thanks again guys for joining me, as always if you have any requests please feel free to message me or leave a comment. You can also go check out my Instagram and Twitter. See you soon!

February Wishlist

Hey everyone, its that time of the month again when I do my fashion wishlist, I've particularly been getting into more bright and girly colours recently and I am loving smock dresses! I have tried to create an outfit this month with the products that I have been loving instead of

1. Topshop: Nails in Jump, £5.00 (Buy here)
I really love the Topshop nail polishes and I definitely think their worth the price. This colour is such a beautiful pinky coral that I think would look beautiful for the spring/summer.

2. Topshop: Ditsy Leaf Necklace, £7.50 (Buy here
This is such a cute and delicate looking necklace that would go with a lot of pieces in my wardrobe. I love anything gold, pretty and delicate.. I was a magpie in a past life I swear.

3. Topshop: Cheesecloth Check Smock Dress, £30.00 (Buy here)
I'm currently obsessed with smock dresses and I think they will be perfect for the spring/summer due to them being light and flowy. I would love to add this to my collection as the checkered pattern is so cute and again the colours will be perfect for the nice weather.

4. Urban Outfitters: Deena & Ozzy Parker Buckle Chelsea Boots in Black, £75.00 (Buy here)
I recently managed to break my chelsea boots (all cry). So I have been on the hunt for some new ones and these are the ones I have found. I think their are such a good boot that will go with anything and everything.

Thanks for popping by sweeties!

Birchbox

Hey everyone I'm back with a Birchbox unboxing. Last year I was signed up to Glossybox, which I did enjoy but I felt that the products I was receiving weren't as good as I had anticipated them to be. I really enjoyed to concept of receiving a beauty box each month, as it's quite fun and I love testing out lots of products. I decided to have a look at the other ones available and came across the Birchbox which I thought I would give a go.

This is the first box that I have received and I am actually really impressed with it so far. I think the products that was in the box are good quality and are good sized tester products, this is something I found wasn't too good in Glossybox. My favourite product of this box would have to be the Eyeko eyeliner, the skinny tip on the product makes it really easy to create an exact and precise line, this is something I find very important in an eyeliner, I find that the finer the eyeliner the easier it is to control what you are doing.

Over all I am really impressed with the Birchbox so far. I think that the presentation of it was really cute and all of the products were well worth the money. (£10 per month + £2.95 P&P) I will definitely be keeping my subscription going and I have high hopes for the Birchbox.

If you want to sign up to Birchbox you can do so here

Nail Rock Glitter Red, £6.99 (Buy here)
Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner Black, £21.00 (Buy here)

Clarins One-Step Cleanser

Hey guys!

Just wanting to let you know about a great new product that I bought recently. The Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser which has become a new favourite product of mine.

Due to me having an odd skin type, oily and dry (how annoying!) I have trouble balancing my skin out and trying to combat these issues. I have found in the past that cleansers either make my skin far too dry or too oily. After using this product for just over a week or so now my skin seems to be loving it! The blemishes that I have are disappearing and the gentle beads in the product have started to combat my dry skin, I am actually surprised how quickly I have seen a change in my skin.

When applying the product it really is a lovely gentle cleanser and the small beads get rid of dry skin that sits on the face. I have been using it every morning along with some other Clarins products and I have found that my makeup sits so much better on my skin now. It has also given my skin a natural glow and has improved my skin so much.

I highly recommend this product and can not express how much it has helped clear my skin of blemishes and dry skin. All round a wonderful product. I will be posting a skin care routine post soon and I might possibly make it as a Youtube video too make sure you check back for that.

Clarins: One-Step  Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser: 125ml £20.00 (buy here
